Just when I thought there would be nothing to report in January, I saw an advert in Find-it from Ashfield Motorsport for Sierra Cosworth parts and decided to enquire about a limited slip diff as the diff I had from the 2 litre donor car wasn't really suitable for use with the V8 engine. A few hours later and a trip down the M1 to Derby and I was the proud owner of a 4wd Cosworth diff along with drive shafts and hubs - Trouble is, I have to go through blast cleaning and refurbishing again.

Went to ASK (Auto Spares Kippax) to buy a set of wheel bearings first before removing old ones. Stripped down drive shafts and hubs ready for blasting - Decided that where practical, items would be zinc plated like the front hubs (although they haven't been returned yet)

Placed advert on Find-it for diff and drive shafts previously refurbished
