When sticking down the carpets I used both spray on evostick contact adhesive and paint on evostick contact adhesive. Whilst the spray was easier to apply, the paint on adhesive gave a far better bond and I have since had to re apply glue to the edges of some of the carpet stuck with the spray.

To fix the seats in place, An aluminium angle was fixed to the front edge of the seats which was in turn fixed to the chassis cross-member as shown in the photo below

The moulded dashboard didn't seem to fix back properly into place and it soon became apparent that there was a lump in the edge of the dashboard wherever the leather covering had been stitched. The solution was to peel back the leather covering and filing out a notch in the GRP to take-up the excess material.
